Major problems

Moving my 92 Saturn T1550 from my inlaws farm to my place today, I noticed that the front awning bracket had come loose and the bolts look pretty rusty. This is the bracket at the top. I also noticed there is a bulge in the siding at the bottom of the trailer where the awning clamps in and that bracket is loose. I'm afraid the wood is rotted behind the siding. I don't know how big a job this is. Does anyone know how to take off the siding and replacce the wood? Any suggestions would help. It figures, this is the year I was going to sell the trailer and upgrade.

Your best bet is to go to the "Repairs and Maintenance" section.
People have tackled this kind of projects and documented them well.

That post is on fixing my slide floor, but there are pics there taking siding and corners on and off step by step.

The siding comes off starting at the bottom. Then you work you way up.

There are several of us here that have done this. If you are wood working handy, this is a doable task. We have had several reconstruct a lot of there camper from water damage.

We can help and glad too. If at all possible, pictures really help of your problem so we can better see what you are up against.
