Lost shore power on 1995 T-1950 - is there a main breaker?

Hi guys,

I've had my TT in the driveway plugged into shore power while doing renovations. The other day, I noticed that shore power is no longer working and my lights keep getting dimmer and dimmer (as they are on battery power which is not recharging). I've switched all the breaker switches on the converter inside the trailer to no avail. And the converter 'fan' which I would hear come on from time to time is no longer running.

I seem to remember there was a thread about a hidden main breaker, which I cannot find. Have any of you had this happen? How do I troubleshoot? I've checked all my connections, but still no AC power.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If there is a main breaker it will be marked 30 amp. Nothing 120 volts is "hidden" The converter will make 12 volts DC as long as you are plugged in and charge the battery at the same time. You sure your city power is OK? If you are using an adapter it might be your problem have a look and make sure there is nothing that show signs of being hot or just get a new one. They are only rated at 15 amps so if you are running heaters and tools you may have cooked it.

you may have tripped a house breaker or if your plugged into GFCI protected circuit tripped the GFCI.

Hey there, wanted to post that after troubleshooting the converter, a mechanic found that it was indeed my adapter. No converter needed and everything seems to be working great. Thanks for your feedback! Molly
