I broke my rear compartment door latch

Hi folks, does anyone have a link to share for replacing the latch. I looked at amazon but don't see the exact size I need.

The key to searching is what they call the thing... Doing a hit on Amazon under "JR Compartment door thumb locks" turns up many

You will need to figure out if you need a 5/8" long or 7/8" . I think the 5/8 may be more what you might need as the Sunline cargo doors are not that thick. There is a link on the JR web site for more info. It fires an email and I'm assuming they send you something.

I do not know if the diameter of these newer ones matches your older camper. They may. This is where more info on the dimensions of the old latch and the new ones being sold to compare will confirm you are getting the correct one.

On a second look, your pic has a smooth diameter and what looks like an O ring to maybe keep water out. The newer thumb latches on my camper are more like the JR products with the threaded nut to hold the latch on. I have never seen the turning part in the side the latch housing.

What does the part in the door look like? What you showed may be just the turn knob and not the entire part that is still in the door. See if there is a large nut inside the door holding the outer barrel in the door. You may have to rebuy the whole latch.
