Congrats - remember if you have any questions - this is the place to ask!

We loved our 06 1950 but wanted more room - bought our 2499 a few weeks ago and have been camping in it every other weekend !

Enjoy it and welcome to the wonderful world of Sunline Owners!

Congrats,

What a wonderful floor plan. The rear corner bed takes a little getting used to, but once you get a routine with it, you'll be fine. Being in Fl you'll have plenty of chances to use it. I've had 2 - 1950's. Only sold them because someone wanted one and couldn't/wouldn't spend the time looking to find one. SO, I told them a rediculous price to chase them away, but they paid instead!!.

You have purchased one of the best coaches ever built, and you should have many trouble free years with it. My friend just sold his 1982 T-1550 for 3K, and everything was original and working except for the a/c unit which he had to replace last year and I had to make curtains for it as they were missing when he bought it. they DO stand the TEST OF TIME .

Nick,

Congratulations on you new trailer. You'll really enjoy it.

You need to update your signature now from "Looking for" to "Got one"

We've had our T-1950 since March and I know you'll love it as much as we do. We found a new 2006 at that time. Congratulations !

Thank You for all advice and kind words. This the story behind the trailer it was bought by a couple new in 06 from the same dealer. She was going to tow it with the her employee vehicle(she works for the county). The county hold on a minute, you cant tow that trailer with our truck. So the trailer sat in the back yard. they traded it in a year later for a class b, the payments where as much as the truck payment. It has really never been used it still has the blue tape in the fridge and still has the sticks on the bathroom door and plastic on the mattress. I do have a question is there a differance between the t-1950 and t-1950 lite?

Nike,

There is no difference.

In 2000 Sunline, after they dropped the Saturn model line, they started calling all Solaris non-slide models under 7000 lb GVWR as Solaris Lite Models.

The Solaris T-1950 is the same thing as the Solaris Lite T-1950.

Nick,

To the best of my knowledge, there are no differences between the T-1950 Solaris and the T-1950 Solaris Lite. I think the only reason the word "lite" was added was to designate the lighter weight models, specifically with GVWR's under 6000 lbs, which is the max for most smaller TV's. I'm not real sure if it was 6000 lbs, but that's an approximate guess.

Hey Pamwinn, you can be like us - we moved up to a T2499 - we could not get use to the bed at all - I turn in early and DH turns in late = he sleeps in the inside and has to get up in the middle of the night a few times to empty out the beer he drank during the day!

After 2 summers of this - we just bit the bullet (Sunline closing also made us move faster) and got ourselves the 2499 - we LOVE that bed arangement!

I don't think there are any 2007's available anymore. That and I don't believe our Tundra would tow it. We are thinking about padding the jackknife real good and leaving it made up as a bed. My husband makes me sleep on the inside and it is extremely difficult to get out of if he is in bed.

I am a little anal retentive so it takes me about an hour to get the bed made up perfectly.
