how do you plug holes?

hi everyone....I am taking out a lot of stuff ie black water container, copper pipes, pvc pipes & so on...now I have holes in the floor & ceiling & do not know how to patch/fix them so that stuff from the road doesn't get in from the underside...is there a type of rubber plug/s that can be put in on the underside or do I have to do patching with metal pieces large enough to cover the holes & seal them? Can not find anything anywhere that can help me with this problem & I worry that water off the road will go between the bottom metal & the floor & I will get floor rot which by the way I just found & am dealing with along with carpenter ants......when it rains it pours...hahaha...anyway this is a big issue for me so any help would be a blessing...thank you M'

How about using aluminum flashing with a good contact cement to cover those holes..I am assuming of course that you have the aluminum underbelly.
