Hose Conections ?

Hello, I have a Newbie ?
I have two hose conections on the side of my t 3200 1984
I know the one says fresh water ( Drinking ) on the outside the other one is rusty. Picture attached.

What would this one be for?

Hi Ron,

One should be for putting fresh water into your onboard water storage tank. Water in the storage tank will be pumped thru your water lines to faucets, toilet byway of a pump that you should have a switch to turn it on., if you don't turn on the switch you won't get any water. If you can see under your trailer, this connection will probably be right near the storage tank

The other one will pressurize your water lines in the trailer, giving you water whenever you turn on a spigot or flush toilet. Just like your home system.

Thank You Kitty and thanks for the info on the roof. I got up there and fixed the tank vents today. The water lines make sense. I will replace that one. I still have not found a fresh water tank valve to empty it?

Hey Ron,

Have you located your fresh water tank? There should be a drain near the bottom of the tank. It could even be a "plug" that you have to remove to drain it. But yours might be different, I'm not familiar with your model.

Maybe Jon will chime in on this one.

Thanks for the good wishes on my frame issue. Being single and on a fixed income, I hope it will not be very expensive.

Hi Ron,

Wow, it looks like your coach was hooked up to some pretty hard water there for a while. Here's pictoral explanations of everything:

Fresh Water tank Fill:

The Fresh Water tank drain should be down low on the siding, probably just below the fresh water fill. It should be tan colored also.

Here's the one on my '94 2363, which was black, so it's hard to see:

Its a 40gal tank right behind and over the wheels. I looked under and did not find anything? Thanks Ron

Hi Ron,

You've officially got me stumped. I've looked through my pics and it does appear the wall mounted drains didn't come about until 1985:

(It's a '85 1350 for those of you wondering)

Take another good look (and maybe a few pics while you're at it) of the whole tank area. If there's no hoses that come out from the lower walls of the tank, then I would be very surprised. Maybe there's just a plug down there?

I'll admit, upon further reviewing of pics, it does look like this drain depended on the model. Some floorplans (seems to be the ones that have the tank right next to the fill) have a drain. Others seem to not, so I'd assume that there is a drain somewhere underneath. I'll admit I was still looking at '85 models, but my pics aren't all high quality, so I was lucky to find some good enough to see the drain. The quality of the '84 pics is much worse than the '85 for some reason.

I have a 1981 19 1/2sb and my drain is actually a PVC pipe sticking down under the camper with just a screw on cap. I will post pictures of the pipe tomarrow.

Well I have looked in all the places that could have a drain from this tank and nothing! I got under it and found nothing. I opened up all cabnet doors that the tank is behind, I can see the fill pipe the pump but no drain. Oh well I will continue to press forward with my overhall and see if it shows up. On another subject; GhettoMedic do you treat your cabnets with any wood treatment? I saw your photos and they look like mine.
