Does anybody have, or know of, a 2990 for sale...? Or a 2975 w/o the bunks (optional full rear bath)...?Janalee

Jan,

I'd be glad to post some pics of a 2975 with the bath option if you'd like. I think I only have one of those, but I do have one.

EDIT: I actually have two 2000's, and one 2001. I do have a few more, but exterior pics only.

Also, here's a floorplan for those who don't know (courtesy of an ad for a 2975):

Sorry but maybe i miss-understood the original post. My sunline is not for sale. Yes it has the large wardrobe as well as the linen closet in the bathroom. I love the angled shower in the corner. Due to some medical issues with a family member i didn't go south for the winter this year, as i usually do. The large bathroom sure is nice when you use it for 4-5 months in the winter time.
I would like to find out if any people have made any interesting mods to the interior of a model 2990 or 2975. i would like to pull the dinette out of mine and put a small free standing table and chairs in it. i think it would make a lot more room etc. By the way i live in the Bloomsburg area.

This is the layout of my T30F

I bought a T30F (FEMA auctioned) trailer, and no formaldehyde problem!

I was wondering what floorplan mine came from, and that is it!

Jan,

Here's the pics I promised. Prior to it being called the 2975 with a rear bath option, it was called the 2990 from 1995-1999, and then they combined the 2970 (BH) and 2990 into the 2975 for 2000-2003 with the optional rear ends.

I've uploaded every picture I have, so instead of posting them here, here's the link to just view them:

Well Jon,you did a great job! Now if one of them was just for sale..I think the 2001 had been special ordered for the entry enlargement to the bedroom--maybe for handicapped? I wonder why they only put one shirt closet/wardrobe in the bedroom? Thanks so much for sending the link! Janalee

The 2001 as as well as my 2002 had that large entry to the bedroom. I belive the factory changed it somewhere during production of the 2001 model year. I looked at an 01 model which had the smaller bedroom entry, but decided to order the 02 model because i wanted "Blue" interior not the green. But my o2 has the larger entry.

Jon great pictures thats some display.

Jan, These are NOT the model numbers you requested, because they all have the bunks, but here they are. Shouldn't be too hard to turn the bunk area into a closet. Since the 2990 is actually 30' long I used Google to search for Sunline 30, and these came up. Again...good luck

2990

Jon, I was soooo excited-had given up on a 2990 and had only been web searching the 2975(but again I am limited as they put in that huge opening for the bedroom in the '01 and '02 and I liked the privacy of the reg. doorway)---however, I think you may be correct in that it would be too heavy for my van.I can't find any weights listed on it in the files so the fiberglass side may have been an option in that year. Good job on the detective work Jon!!! I will email them and see if they have the specs on it anyway...Thanks!! Jan

The opening to the bedroom has 2 sliding doors behind the wall you see in the picture. Of course they can close off any or all of the opening to the bedroom. Also the GVW is listed on the wardrobe door in the bathroom on my trailer, if I'm not mistaken it's 7,000 lbs., I believe the factory wt is in the neighborhood of 5,500 lbs. I have never had my trailer weight so I can't say for sure. sunline1

Good Morning Janalee,

Jon found you one !! and I believe the one in Nova Scotia was also the large rear bath-no bunks.

The one Jon located as per the brochure: IS the small sliding bedroom door opening.

length - 29'11", dry weight 4915 lbs, GVWR 7000#, interior decor appears to be the Honey Wheat. Looks super clean in the pics.

GOOD LUCK,
Kitty

No Problem Jan. I was told, though I've never seen actual specs, that the SE models were a lot heavier, that's why I said your van probably couldn't handle that. But, it is a very clean looking one, so maybe a new TV is in order?

SE 2990

Thanks for your help Kitty but Nova Scotia is way too far to go..and JON---I contacted the dealer and he said it is 5452#...I really can't afford to buy a new TV for this although I am sure one is in the cards for me even if I don't want to admit it. The other thing that bothers me is the fiberglas sides--every moho we had with it had some delamination and the one Sunline I saw on the way here was delaminating too. I may have to gamble and just wait for another..or stick with my 2653.Anyway,what search engine did you use to find it??? Thanks, Jan

Wow, I'm surprised it's only 5500 lbs. I thought the SE package added A LOT to it. I've never had a problem with the fiberglass, and I think as long as it's taken care of, you shouldn't have a problem.

As for how I found it, I was making my way through RV Trader Online's 150 some Sunline's and came across it. I then went to the dealer website and gave you that link. I had just been on RV Trader Online two days ago and I do not remember that coach. So, I am guessing it just came on in the last day or two, even though the dealer has probably had it for a week or so.

Jon
