Extrior grill

My camper has the extrusion mounted on the side of the camper. But no grill was included with the camper. What brand did Sunline supply with the units I would like to add one.

Nick,

The outside grill is a RVQ.

We got one with our trailer, used it once and haven't used it since. It's more of a personal preference than anything else. It's a low pressure grill, so it cooks slower. Plus I wasn't too crazy about cooking under the awning.

But other people have them and love them.

I'm actually in the process of making a table to take use of the external mounting bracket. I figure we would get more use out of the table than the grill. When I'm done I hope to post some picture.

Nick,

I've heard that in recent years the brackets were mounted on regardless of if the option was included or not. That way, if the option was to be added later (like you want to do), it wouldn't require a lot of modification.

The grill supplied to us was an ASC Industries Inc. PGG-2 Model G9900-3001 - it works great, for us - their website is www.ascind.com

We love our RVQ. The QUE doesn't have an oven, and because the RVQ cooks slowly we can use it as an oven if we want. We don't hook it to the side of the camper - DH made a stand for it. When you hook them on that rail you have to be very careful about flareups and also smoke coming into your trailer. If I had an oven in the trailer I think I'd get a freestanding portable regular grill.

Nick,

I believe we have the same grill as indicated by Kathy (Pappy & Nanna), but our grill looks identical to the one on the RVQ web site and nothing like the one shown on the ASC web site. So I'm not sure which one I have.

Do you have the LP gas hook-up under your trailer by the mounting rail?
Is the pipe there with the quick connect or is it just a capped off pipe?
If it's just a capped off pipe, you will need to get the proper quick connect end to attach to the pipe also.
