End of an era.

Well folks, it's been a great time on this forum but I must say good bye. My wife recently passed and I sold my trailer to a nice young couple. It's staying in RI and I feel sure that they will be all over this forum. This forum has been a big help to me over the years, answering all my questions. Thanks to all of you..

Bye for now,
Dave aka relie

Dave I have just recently joined this club and forum, having just purchased a 1999 Sunline Solaris T2553. While I expected happy times ahead at this forum, I opened your message to find the unhappy and inevitable side to life. I don't know you, but I'm truly sorry for your loss! It is a devastating thing to lose someone that you love. My thoughts and prayers are with you. As j52wf suggested, please consider staying on the forum. I'm sure as a senior member, you have come to know quite a few people here, and I'm sure that you have many experiences and stories of happier times that you could share! I hope to see a post or two - or more in the future! Again, my sincere condolences.

Dave..I lost my husband two years ago so I understand that deep sense of loss completely. You have my sympathy and understanding. However, I have since bought a smaller camper and am now enjoying a seasonal site near good friends. So don’t give up entirely-be open to new possibilities, and continue to enjoy the great people on the forum.
