This is confusing. If you purchased an empty shell, I assume all electrical and plumbing is gone? are you saying you have some of the plumbing and electrical and don't know how to hook it up? I don't beleive there are any diagrams available other than what others may have sketched out as they where rebuilding.

We have taken the walls off and the wiring is there also water pipe connections and some drains, but no tanks or indication of such. Hubby is very apt at replacing whatever is needed , just not sure of what that might be. Any help would be appreciated this..We limped this to CT from Kennebunk last month..

Not sure what plumbing pipe type they used in 86 but the standard now is PEX with copper crimp rings and plastic fittings, I'd use the brass myself. If you go to file tab you can find interior layout. Black and grey tanks should be under the floor, not sure where water tank was located.

Please post some pics of the exterior sides and rear of the trailer. They need to be good quality resolution so that we can see clearly where hatches and such used to be. Based on that we can begin to help you locate things.

You will want to go into the files area and download the brochure for your model year. Based on the locations of windows and doors plus length of the trailer, you should be able to determine exactly what model you have. That will give you the original floor plan. From that, you can generally determine where plumbing needs to go and much of the electric as well.

If you truly plan to rebuild the trailer with the same or similar floor plan, get yourself a 500 foot roll of black #14 stranded wire and a 500 foot roll of white #14 stranded wire. You will need it to recreate all the wiring needed.

As Jim pointed out, PEX is now the standard for plumbing RV's. An alternative to the crimp connections are the Flair-It fittings. They are available in every conceivable configuration including valving. My '11 Cougar is plumbed exclusively with PEX and Flair-It so I know that it is a good choice for RV plumbing. You can do the whole trailer with a utility knive and tape measure. The Flair-It's can be all tightened by hand although you may want to snug them with pliers when you're almost done.

If you search on the net using the key words travel trailer wiring diagram you will find lots of them. They're a good place to start figuring out what you need to do.

This is a schematic of a generic RV water system, not specific to your trailer, but will give you the components and how they are connected:

It's customary when asking for pics in a specific thread to post them in the thread rather than over in an album. It's much easier to look at pics in the thread instead of jumping back and forth. A quick review of any number of threads here will show you that.

Without a street side pic, it's impossible to tell you where the hookups go since they are normally on that side.

If you are not going with a shower or toilet, then you can put stuff pretty much where ever you want. The floor plan from the FILES area should give you and idea about walls and counters and so on.

If you look at enough pics of interiors, you'll see where things go. Many times, the convertor and fuse panel are located below the fridge. The main 110vac shoreline is usually close to the panel, too.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I have to say, this is a bit of a puzzle you have here. Can you post a picture of the other side of the camper? I think I might have a few answers to where stuff was but want to be sure. Also get a better picture of the rear wall with the wires. I think you have most of the wiring for the rear running lights, side lights and hopefully brake lights. It looks like you have a pipe that runs to the gray tank by the wheel well so check under there as the tank may still be there unless of course you look into that pipe and see the ground. Also, is that a water spout to the left of the door toward the bottom of camper?

Since it was too cold to glue my rubber roof back onto my camper, I checked out some of the files the guys here talked about. Mack's link above didn't work for me but I think I figured out the floor plan from your pix and the brochure in the file section. I'm thinking it is a T1550 with this floor plan and look based on where the entry door is and the window placement on that side of the camper. If this is correct, then the inverter was located under the stove as the "shore power door" is just to the left of the entry door and that would be the main power source. Also, I think the fresh water tank is under sink which also means that the cut drain pipe I was asking about in my last post is really for the kitchen sink and the gray tank isn't under it but across the camper almost directly across from the entry door where the bathroom would have been. Again, I'm just guessing off the placement of the windows and door and what I know about rebuilding 2 campers over the years.

Oh yeah, it looks like you already asked for help in August in a different post. If so, you may want to delete that one so you don't throw folks off and it is hard to manage different posts about the same issue.

I checked my c drive download file and don't see it there. I don't see a download section on this site either. When I tried to follow the string forums/documents/... there doesn't see to be one unless I'm looking in the wrong place.

Along the top of the screen, there are tabs right under the Sunline Owners Club logo. Click on FILES. It's pretty straight forward.

Very true, however, the poster in question was looking on his C: drive for the download so I am quite sure he was using a PC and not a smart phone.

That's a huge limitation of Tapatalk and similar apps.
