Cost to replace awning?

I'm sure this has been covered, but if we had to replace our awning because of damage, how much would it cost to have a dealer do it? We have a 2006 T 1950. Our insurance company says awning is not covered and would cost $3 per $1000. With deductible is even $3 worth it?

You would be looking at $1000 or thereabouts for an entire awning..but usually it's just fabric replacement @ 1/2 that. I have AARP auto insurance and cover my '02 2363 for approximately $60 yr. as an extra to the auto coverage. My awning IS covered with a $100 deductible. I actually had an awning claim on the previous tt and had no problem at all. Five years ago we had a breakin in both my van and the camper while traveling..van damage was covered by the auto part, tt by the camper part, and our homeowners covered the various stolen articles. I was able to negotiate the deductbles into two..I have Good Sam for my road service. Can't say enough good about AARP (Hartford)!!!
To answer your question--sounds like $3.00 (per year or month?) Is a good price...
