Black water treatment

I have been away from camping for awhile and I am interested on opinions on what treatment product is best for the black water tank.

You said the “best” product. This ends up being a choice. And the choices are endless….

This is what my choice is:

Sea-zyme Bacteria and Enzymes. http://www.sea-zyme.com/
Use some Washing Soda to soften the water and makes everything slide out easier. Arm & hammer Washing Soda

AND
An internal tank flusher. I do flush after each trip. Some times at the CG if there are no lines OR If people are waiting, I dump and run… and then I clean up at home. I can connect my dump hose into my aerator septic system.

I do not have problems with tank level sensors, no odors in the camper and the bacterial action works well in my septic system.

A clean tank is a happy tank

Good luck

John

We don't use anything in our black tank. We do have a TORNADO tank flusher. Haven't had any problems. IMO chemicals are a waste of money. But ask 10 people and you'll get 10 different answers.

I make sure I fill it before I leave the campground and then dump at the campground. Then I fill again at home when I have time and dump it again.I live in Florida and no stinky's.
