olddj1 is an unknown quantity at this point
Midden,
Ours came with A&E main awning and slide topper. The info is in your Sunline Owner's Booklet (binder) if you have it. There should also be a tag on the roller tube itself if you unroll the awning all the way. I have the binder and knew what to order, but when I replaced our slide topper awning last year I found one on the tube.

Hi Midden,

Do not know what year your camper is. Many (most) Sunlines came with the Dometic A & E awning from the factory and it did not matter which model camper. Sunline did however customize to buyers wishes if they ordered a custom so there may have been a change or a prior owner may have changed it.

I have had 2, 2004 model Sunlines and both had the A & E Sunchaser model vinyl awning. They were white vinyl up along the top of the camper and then blends of colors down by the roller tube.

If there are no stickers anywhere on the awning tube or the side arms, if you can post some pictures we may be able to tell from the awning arms/hardware what brand you have. A & E and Care-free have different awning arms/hardware and once ones knows what to look for you can tell. Try can get close enough we can see the latch and handle system for rasing the awning arms. They are very different between the brands in this area.

Hope this helps

John

Here is basic Carefree Awning

http://www.carefreeofcolorado.com/do...esta%20IPL.pdf

I can't find a better pic but that arms are more rounded verses square and the one thing that sticks out is the latch release. It is part 7 on that link diagram. The have a rod and mini lever to put the release down where you can reach it easier. The A & E does not have that feature

Here is Carfree's site. Carefree Travel Trailer Patio Awnings

Hope this helps
