Advice needed: T1950 or Que

I had a Terry Resort tt with the bed in the corner like the T1950, and I hated making it up because of the walls on all 4 sides. I sold it for that reason and got a Sunline T-2075. Have you considered this model? It has a queen walkaround bed in the front and is still small and lightweight. I love mine and I think it would be ideal for 2 people. Barry

I did consider that model but liked the idea of having a sofa/chair sitting area of the T1950. I did like the idea of a walk around bed and the bathroom that the 2075 has. The T1950 just seems to fit what me and my wife are looking for. The corner bed may be a hastle but I think someone on here found an easy work around by using a sleeping bag with integrated sheets arrangement. I'll have to look into that and see if I can locate where that can be purchased. I believe that took care of the making the bed aggravation (at least that is my hope anyway) for thosee folks. I really did like the 2075 though.

We've made up a corner bed for 3 yeats now. It is more difficult and I make it instead of my wife. The bigger issue is climbing over her during the night. I don't mind, enjoy the occasional midnight hug, and find it rather easy.

That's exactly what I was referring to. Thanks for posting that link. They are kinda pricey aren't they, but I guess convenience comes with a price tag. I also like the flip option for when the temps drop you just flip the sack over and the thicker side is on top for added warmth. Really a slick idea.

We have the Winger Swiss Gear queen sized sleeping bag with zip out liner. When I ordered it I was concerned that it wouldn't be good quality because the price was so low. But we've been very happy with it. The liner zips out for washing and hasn't pilled so far. Here it is for $46,80. I thought we paid more like $70, but it looks exactly the same.

I was playing around with my signature line to see if I could get the picture of our new to us T1950 and it looks like it works. Just sharing with you all since you were kind enough to help us out with our decision.

We just use our regular sleeping bags on our bed with the comforter put on (folded to just lay on top) if "company" comes or we want to give people a tour..... I have sheets on the mattress if it's really warm, but here in the northeast that's not usually a problem. I started out determined to make the bed everyday, but soon gave up--you can make yourself crazy for no reason. I was the same way in our popup! The lighter weight and compact storage make the 1950 perfect for a couple who can still climb over one another.......

Note on wheel chocks: You need them to keep the unit from rolling. For this you should have one on each side or one side will roll or pivot. 4 would be better so it won't move in either direction but all you need is the wedge type for this and they're cheap. Once you set up and chock the wheels, the unit will wobble back and forth as one walks inside and that will drive you crazy. That's where the between tires chock comes in and one is all you need.

Thanks Nancy for the input on the sleeping bag idea. We are still discussing how we want to go but found the Travasak option also to consider, which pretty much does the same thing as the Superbag does but at a much reduced price from what I understand about it. You do not get the choice of colors and options, just two colors that I have been able to find (Blue and Sand). Anybody have any experience with the Travasak?

Hello Paul and Sherry. I took the safe route and bought two of the X-Chocks and two wheel chocks, being a green horn I did not want to risk spoiling the first camper and camping experience for me or my wife. So all went well and we are now trying to plan another trip either back to Topsail Hill State Park in Destin Florida (already have reservations there for now) or to Ocean Waves Camp Ground in OBX NC. Leaning toward Ocean Waves but do not know anything about it or what the weather would be like in mid-May. Still researching that though.

Thanks John, we were a bit nervous (alright, probably alot nervous) on taking the plunge on buying one but now we certainly are glad we did and now are wishing we had done it alot sooner. Looking forward to more trips.
