a list of models
Is there a list of all the different travel trailer models that shows the differences between them? I am beginning to see that there are quite a number of different models.
Also, I in touch with a guy who has a T-2499 for sale and wonder how it came equipped fromthe factory.

At the top of the main forum page is a tab called "Files", click that and then Sunline Brochures. That page has brochures from almost evey year.
Sunline Coach Owner's Club - Sunline Owner's Files - Sunline Brochures
Hopefully that will help a bit.

If you are looking for floorplans, click on FILES tab at top of page. The 3rd listing is Sunline Brochures. The brochures are then listed by year. They will give some explanation of makes and models, options and show floorplans and specs (weights, diminsions, tank capacities, options, etc). Each floor plan has a specific model number.
The most common camper names (makes) currently in use seem to be Solaris and Saturn. Sunline also made Advancer, Coyote, Que, Satellite, Seville, Sole, Sunspot, Tran-sport(toy hauler). Looking at the list of brochures, I learned that they also made a delivery van (Micro-Cruiser) in 1980 and a line named Orbiter in 1975.
Sunline manufactured many makes and models over the years: truck campers, small Class C, 5th wheels, trailers with and without slide rooms and toyhaulers. The company first manufactured garden/storage sheds then truck caps before they started making campers.
If you have a chance to meet Sunline Fan, he has a fantastic "museum" full of Sunline history. He also has put together a Sunline Registry. If you find a Sunline to fit your needs, he can add the VIN# to his registry and possibly tell you the history of it.
What do you have for a tow vehicle? I have towed our T-2363 with my 6-cyl Explorer prior to getting the F150, but I think the T-2499 would be too much for it. As others have said in your other post, both the T-2363 and the T-1950 are popular and a nice size. Either would work nicely for one person. My husband and I are comfortable in ours with a medium sized dog along.
Welcome to SOC and best wishes in your search for the perfect camper!

What year is the 2499???? There have been some issues with the frame on them....there are a few people who will chime in I'm sure, about the frame issue and the years it involved!
We have a 2007 and we had a problem with it cracking!

Please tell us exactly what the error message said, and which program generated the error message.

Hi Rrwayne
You have some great answers on the different models. I'll comment some on the T2499. That is a great layout. We had one, a 2004. The T2499 I do believe was introduced in 2003. So you may not find any older then that.
The frame header issue that was talked about started in the 2005 model year and went up thru the early 2007 years. The last 2007's had a fix in them. The 2003 and the 2004's have no problem with the frame.
If you find that T2499 is your dream camper, find out the manufacture date. It is listed on the VIN tag on the front left of the camper. They will help key us in and then we can tell you what to look for.
Don't fear the header problem but know about it and go into the deal eyes wide open. The T2499 is a very popular floor plan. If it is not yet bent or cracked it can be fixed for not much money. If it is cracked we can show you where to look and how it can be fixed. The cost will depend on the extent of damage. The actual owner may not even know there is a problem or the potential of one.
That unique nice rear living floor plan comes with a price. It loads weight from the gear you put in towards the tongue of the camper. That creates a high loaded tongue weight. A 1,000# loaded tongue weight is very common. Several us us T2499 owners even had a 1,200# tongue weight. And we have at least 1 forum member with an 800# loaded tongue as he really does not load much gear in the front cargo hole.
As a friendly Sunline camper, here is some info on that floor plan. You really want/need a high end 1/2 ton pickup truck or a 3/4 ton anything to hold up the tongue weight of the stuff you can put in that floor plan unless you intend to not put much in the camper or nothing in the back of the truck. I use to tow mine with a 1500 Tahoe until I went to the truck scales and since we loved the camper too much we ended up with a 2500 Suburban and then we could go anywhere fully loaded except to haul fresh water.
Hope this helps and good luck searching for your favorite Sunline
John
