1994 T 1550 Rear compartment floor rot

I went to look at a 1994 Sunline Saturn t 1550 a few days ago.
Its perfect for what i need except the floor under the rear seat( also can access it from small storage door outside of trailer) is completely rotted.
Even the wooden cross braces under the wood are rotten. Has anyone replaced the flooring in one of these?
Looks like a chore.

Great Site!!!

Thanks!!

Yes, but it doesn't help that a number of people are gone this weekend at a meet and greet. A few of us have attempted such repairs in the past. If you're handy with tools and woodworking, it's very doable, but if you have to pay to have it done at an RV dealer, it'll get expensive real quick.

Ah, Thanks.
It hasn't sold yet so im going to go back take a even closer look at it.I have no problem repairing it just have to uncover more and see what he wants to get for it.$$ wise.

I can also see the white ceiling panels in side have de laminated. the owner thinks the ac drain is the problem.

Hi, I'm sure you will get sugestions but in the meantime check out this thread.

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...nks-11910.html

Scroll down till you get to the restoration section. Some great writeups with photos. Impressive work!!

As stated, materials are not that expensive but very labor intensive. If you like projects and get a really great deal, I say go for it. Good luck!
