Yeah, the Grand Cherokee and T-1850 should be a good match. If you plan to tow with it a lot, you may consider adding in a transmission cooler (in addition to the brake controller and 7 way) if it doesn't have one from the factory. Factory tow packages usually include a trans cooler, but sometimes cars have them from the factory regardless these days with more complex transmissions.
