12 volt operation

Hello again,
I was wondering how do i get my interior lights to work on battery power when camper is not plugged in? I have a 1993 Sunline Saturn T-1740. It is parked in my driveway and I dont have a 110v 30amp circuit at home and i want to turn lights on? Is there a switch or something I am missing?
Thank You.
Tsherwood

Assuming you have a good charged battery hooked up, and the fuses are good, it should switch automatically to battery power. Check for a Main fuse at the battery.

You don't need a 30 amp circuit if you only want lights and appliances. The 30 amp is neede to run air conditioning. Using an adapter, I plug my 2475 into a regular 15 amp outlet in my garage. Runs everything but air and keeps my battery charged as well.

If you don't already have one you should buy a 15 to 30amp adapter plug. You can plug into your homes 110 and you will have lights, charge your battery and run your fridge. The thing you won't be able to run is your air conditioner.

You can use an outdoor extension cord to reach your trailer plug from an outlet.

Sure. Preferably 12 gauge, as long as you don't use the AC. AC's are power hogs.

My a/c works off a 15 amp adapter. I actually have used my honda 2000 to power everything with it.
