Slider hitch, with a long bed truck

WHen we had Kitty's short bed truck, we were forced to get a slider hitch. I really didn't cherish the thought of damaging the truck, or the Sunline if we took a turn too sharply.

When we switched to a long bed truck, we kept the hitch. Not because we needed it, but because we already had it. Until today, I had never tried sliding the hitch back for maneuvering. By the time we got home last night, it was way too late to try putting Sunny away. I let it wait until day light.

Before maneuvering Sunny into the "Pit" I slid the hitch back and locked it in place. The difference in maneuverability is amazing. I got Sunny into the pit, in one try! It usually takes quite a bit of back and forth "Adjustments" but not this time!

If you have a long bed truck and a slider hitch, give it a try!
