It's Official

Well after a lot of research and a number of e-mails to Sunline Fan; EMD Driver; kanyonkitty and JohnB we went to look at at a Sunline Fifth Wheel on the weekend. We spent between 3 and 4 hours going over every inch of this rig.

We are now the official owners of this unit. Since everyone enjoys photo, here are the pictures of our 5'ver. I guess we now have the twin to EMD Driver and kanyonkitty's 5'ver.

The only sad part is that we are now going to have to sell our 2005 T2753 TT.

Trailblazer,

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your wonderful purchase. If our deal had fallen thru on the Frederick, MD 5th wheel, we were preparing to head to NY to get that one. I love it more everytime I am in it.

I believe you will be very pleased with it, hope you can make it to the Buttonwood GTG, we can compare what changes might have occurred in a few months of build time.

OH, yeah, the pictures are great, you have the original paper towel holder, our was MIA, but I love the "country kitchen" plaque with hooks that took it's place.

OH, how comfortable was the recliner & sofa ???? Who claimed the recliner ?

Congrats Again,

Kitty n Gary

Congrats on the new 5er! Very cool

Gee we seem to be having a 5er following here now. Even the same model is populating…

You are going to really enjoy the extra room….

John

PS Thanks for the shot of the flip up counter top and the swing out arm to hold it up. The counter top extension is on my to do list and there are several ways to hold up the table extension. I now have one more option!

Congrates on your new FW. Very nice unit, thanks for sharing the pictures. I'm sure you'll really love the extra room.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. We are picking the unit up pm Thursday. Feb 25th and towing it home. Once we leave the dealership we have to stop at the border to do up the paper to import it to Canada. In about one weeks time we will receive a vehicle importation package which I need to take with me to be stamped when the unit is inspected and then I can license it it Canada. Once I mail the stamped documents into the government they will mail me a sticker that must be placed on the unit beside the manufacturers placard. Talking to others who have imported trailers, the entire process sounds pretty easily and painless.

We could not believe how comfortable both the recliner and sofa are. A definite improvement over the jack-knife sofa in our current trailer.

Now before we even got to the dealership I called the recliner as mine but once DW sat in it she wanted it so we are still working that one out. However, I will just have to keep reminder her I called it first so it is mine.

The rig is now home. I did the walk thru this morning and hookup and headed home. The snow had already started coming down when I left the dealer but I manged to get on the roads before any significant accumulation started. Cleared customs in about 15 minutes and managed to get ahead of the snow on the way home.

I did not have time to take any pictures but will on the weekend and then will get them posted.

Congrats Bill and Debbie on getting the FW home, has to feel great.

Where in the US did you purchase it?
Was it Colton RV?

Glade you made it home before the snow hit hard.

Thanks. We are both very excited to have it home.

Yes, it was Colton RV where we purchased it from.

It is really not too bad in our case. We got the swivel chair from Stan's 299SR and put it just inside the doorway, to the right. Kitty isn't thrilled with the stools and has clearly stated that they will NOT stay in the coach.

I can't wait to take ours on it's firs camping trip. With all the snow and rain we've had, it is far too dangerous to even attempt to pull it down our driveway.

Today our 5'ver passed inspection in Ontario and has now officially been registered and plated in Canada.

Now just to transfer everything out of the T2753 into the 5'ver.

Great news! Glad all went well. Moving into the new camper… . Oh yes remember that time well. Don’t worry, where ever to put it you will move it at least 3 times between now and next winter… . Plus you now have more space. Your stuff is going to get lost in the new camper…

Happy moving in

Your the exception. You moved twice in one year....

The stuff getting lost meaning so much extra room that it is like the camper has nothing in it...
