replacing light bulbs

my Que has lights along the interior roof, I assume everyone does. I want to put in LED bulbs, has anyone done this ? s far as I can tell there is no transformer in the lights to prevent it.

If they are standard 12vdc bulbs like 921's, 1142's, 194's, etc. they can be replaced with LED's. Every bulb in my 36' fiver is now LED, and the T-2453 before that as well. If they're used for interior illumination, you may find warm white easier on the eyes.

A. Remove bulbs.
B. Take to RV dealer or auto parts store.

They are standard automotive bulbs G9's, I replaced mine with LED bulbs, they draw less power

Has anyone replaced their fridge light w/ LED ? I read reviews that the LED bulbs are not as bright.

I just posted a good summary of LED info over on another RV site (also a Social Knowledge managed site.) It explains how to pick an LED that will be bright enough for your needs.

What I learned about Retro-fit LED lighting. - Open Roads Radio forum for Ham , Amateur Radio and RV camping

The only thing you will have to research is the type of incandescent bulb in your fridge. Once you know that, a quick google search will find the lumen output of that bulb. Then you can match an LED replacement.
