Rear Awning? Interior Color Change

Hi All, we have a new que and have a re version. We have the rail for the awning, now all we have to do is find the awning. Same brand as the large awning? Any sources? Also, we would have liked the Oasis instead of the Beach interior, are there any sources for replacing the interior cushion covers, etc.

We can't wait to take our first trip, and can't believe the Sunline Co. went out of business. We researched the Que and other trailers and thought the value and craftsmanship was great.

Looking forward to meeting all you Que owners!

Welcome! I would have liked to get some replacement cushion covers (any color) for the future for the B*R*Q, but so far haven't found a place to get them. We have an SE, so I don't know about the rear entry awning, but I hope you find one...I can see how it would be very useful on a rainy day!

I am embarrased to admit that I have "NEVER" seen the inside of a Que. But, wanted to make a suggestion for replcement cushion colors. "IF" the cushions are just basic rectangle shape, it would be easy enuff to make the covers. You'd need to make an extra long pillow case, sized to fit the cushion. Once you had the cover on the cushion, you could hand stitch the "ears" that exist on the corners.
Heres a couple of pics of the cushions I recovered in my 1987 T1660:

Great To Hear From You!

Thanks for the advice! That is exactly why I wanted the rear awning, rain! Also, thanks for the advice for the cushions and recovering them, I was almost convinced that I would have to make them myself - just thought it was a shot to see if there was anyone out there that would like to trade!

Ncque,

I believe Butler RV Center in Butler, PA picked up the remaining cushions from the Sunline auction. They'll set you back about $300, but they are the OEM microfiber.

Irt the rear awning. This was apparently a rare option on the RE's, perhaps due to the $525 cost. I would assume it is an A&E, but I don't have any proof of that. I would recommend printing this post out and take it to a dealer- they should be able to recognize it and order you one to match. I only know of a few that have it, and here's a pic with one out:

We had the SE model and I didn't care for the microfiber covers. They attracted every little piece of lint. So, I made covers that just slipped over the top and sides, but not the bottom. They stayed on nicely, and I could wash them easily. I used a quilted bedspread that I had on hand for the fabric. If you like the microfiber, you can look at the tag on your current covers. The manufacturer information is there. Good luck, and enjoy your QUE

Thanks for the heads up on Butler RV, called them, they don't have the color cushions I am looking for, but talked to Scott, who is great by the way. He mentioned he is getting a new Que se in. So if you know of anyone who is looking, let them know. Happy trails, hope to see you on one!

Do they have any colors left?

I contacted Butler last summer for color changes and at the time, they only had the forest green left and I wasn't interested in that color. I also contact the manufacturer of the cushions and we chatted back and forth about options for a while, but it seemed it would cost quite a bit more to get them this way, then I was willing to spend, so I let it go.

You may have seen my other posts inquiring about the rear awning though. This is something I'm very interested in, so any info you have or get in the next couple of months would be appreciated.

Thanks.
