Please Inspect the Axle Welds on your Que
Just a heads up. You may wish to have someone inspect the welds that hold axle to frame on your Que.
Last month, I dropped the Que's left wheel into a hole. It was not a very hard hit on the wheel. However, we later discovered that all three welds that held the right side of the axle to the frame were broken. That was very dangerous situation.
An welder with 35 years on experience repaired the broken welds. He pointed out that welds done by the factory were rather poorly done. Our Que Se was built in Feb 2006, early in the series.
We do miss the Que Se 5.4, but are happy with our new Nash 17K.
