Making the Bed

Okay I give up. How do you put sheets on the bed? We are getting ready to take our maiden voyage and I am stumped. We have the SE so the bed does not go all the way to the end of the wall. As you know there is no single direction to orient the sheets. Do you use two sheets?

I feel pretty stupid and held off asking the question, but it's crunch time now and I need some Que-wisdom from the experts.

We are headed out to Glacier. Any favorite spots to stop or sights to see?

Hey Mitch and/or Ellen!

We also have an SE. We use a "Swiss Mountian" double sleeping bag that has sheets zipped into it. (Left over from out tenting days; Got it at a sporting goods store). That way, all we have to do to "make the bed" is lay out the bag. When we put it away in the morning, we just stuff it in the botom under the sink (Our friends use the closet, but I like to keep that area for clothing). Here is a link:

As for sheets, I can't help you there. I did think about the issue, but then deided the sleeping bag thing was eaiser. Hope you get it figured out!

We just returned from an 11 day trip in the QUE, so I hope I'm not too late with the answer here. A King size fitted sheet will fit on the 4 corners. We use the double sleeping bag with the zip out sheets because it's easier.

2 duvets !! What a fabulous idea! If the double sleeping bag ever bites the dust I'm switching to duvets too

In that case, I'll tell you the rest of the story.

One duvet is winter weight, the other is summer weight. Which one is on top switches with the season. We think it's a good system.
