Details, details.....
Don't ask me why until the mod is done but I need to know: - What is the thickness of the walls in the Que? (The "studs" must have a depth.)
Same with the ceiling.
Thanks everyone.

Mandy & Dean,
Within the Files page there are some Stud Location Files.
The files aren't for a Que, but I would guess that the stud thickness and ceiling OC dimensions are probably the same.

You can measure the thickness by opening a window. Just be sure to subtract the thickness of the casing around the window. I'm getting 1 1/2" side walls - these are aluminum studs. The back wall is wood studded, and I get closer to 2". These are total thicknesses, and also they are just estimates, since I used the measure and subtract method mentioned above. We can't seem to figure out if the front wall is aluminum or wood, and the window doesn't open for measuring. One of my fondest QUE wishes is for that wondow to open! I know I'm not supposed to ask, but what mod are you considering? Telling us here that you're thinking of a mod but don't ask is like putting a bowl of food in front of a dog and saying "please don't eat."

So you will be telling us at the end of the weekend? You know Kathryn and I have no patience. So you have about 24 hours left on it.

OK. Has something to do with the windows. (Not screens.) And first attempt with the available parts is a no go but we're working on alternate ideas now.

The SN for the Que, is 6308. It has been a running joke that "What" in spanish is "Que" So the Que has been named 'What".
As for the second part, it is me.

ElPilotto, I see you're from Essex. My sister lives in Middle River, and my best friend since Jr. High lives in Forest Hill (& has a Sunline 1950), and we have relatives in Parkville, Reisterstown and Towson. Steve & I grew up the B'more area.....NOW will you tell me what your idea for a mod is ? (hehe)

Actually I'm from Montreal just transplanted here, so.......
Take a look via my link and you'll see. Someone already mentioned it. Will have more pictures when it's fully completed.

Hey Dean,
Is that a Sunline parked next to your Que? It looks like a '90-'91 StarRay.

Jon,
Dang! You're good. Not sure what year it is but it sits parked in the RV Lot where Q*Bert spends his "off" time and it hasn't been licensed in a couple of years. No idea who owns it but it is in pretty good shape. I'd be tempted to put an offer on it but I don't know if I could tow the thing, I can't read all the numbers on the sticker.
