I've been googling all over trying to find a flat thick "tape" and just don't see anything similar in all the rv places I have found.
Is that a transition from filon above to aluminum below? If so, is there solid material behind the joint, possibly the wood or aluminum framing of the trailer wall?
If that's the case, my Cougar uses a two piece trim for the same transition. It consists of an aluminum track which is screwed in place, and then a vinyl cover is snapped onto the trim. It can optionally be sealed on the upper edge with caulk. It looks like this and is available in several colors:
