2000 Sunline Ultralite
Can anyone tell me where I can find a bumper end cap for this model. I measure it to be 4 1/4 in. x 4 1/2 in. Thanks

I've seen bumper end caps at Camping World.

The original Sunline bumper caps had pins on the sides to fit into the holes in the bumper. This helped hold them in place so they didn't fall out, even though it still happens. Some dealers stock or can order them.
This is what they look like. You might be able to find them a little cheaper than $22. Make sure to measure your bumper first to make sure you pick the right one (4", 4.25", 4.5"). I think all Sunlines used the 4", but I'm not sure.

Jon, does your 286 have the pins? None of my 2 campers had the pins.

Brain fart, No it doesn't, but it needs them.
The bumper caps I have on it now are from a Starcraft or something, and they don't have pins. When I went to pick up the trailer at the dealer, I saw it was missing bumper caps. I told the salesman, he said well go see if another trailer has them. The other two Sunlines there didn't, but this other new trailer did, so I took those. Then I later found a bag in the trailer with the towel bar, soap dish, TP holder, bumper caps, LP regulator & fittings, etc. I already had extras of all that or went with something else instead, so I kept that bag in tact. I don't recall if the factory caps had the pins (even with no holes) or not. These ones in there now look the same, but for some reason, they keep working themselves out when on the road. Tonight too, it's like the spare tire twists the bumper and works the caps out. Fortunately I have the lanyards on there so I can't lose them, but one corner always pops out randomly.
I did drill a small hole for my lanyards so I don't lose them. This is the first Sunline I've had without the holes.
BTW, it got to see your 2499 today as it rolled on by...

bumper caps
I don't know what you mean by pins. My bumper has the two holes to hold the end cap.

See in the pic how each cap has a little round thing sticking out of the side where it would fit in the bumper? There is one on each side and it'll fit into those holes you have in your bumper.

But, "IF" you don't want your sewer hose getting full of a lot of little pin holes, DON'T store it in the bumper. What a lot of folks do is get a PVC fence post cover from Lowes/Home Depot and attach it on top of the bumper.
