Utlity Door

we all have those utility doors. I had a small issue where those snaps had worn out and was not holding the catch as it should. I had some other new snaps and decided to replace them.
Problem is when I removed the screw for the snap on the body of the trailer, it wasn't a screw but rather a bolt more of a 10-32 size bolt. When I puled it out it was obvious that the nut in behind kind of flew the coop, dropped out of sight. I was not about to remove the inside wall just to retrieve a small nut.

So I made a batch of Gorilla Epoxy and fastened the one part of the snap to the body. Even though it's considered a 5 minute epoxy, I decided to leave it over night for a good cure.

I have the other end using a mini nut/bolt attached to the opposite snap.
You're always concerned about how much torque can be applied to anything using epoxy. This project turned out perfect. I opened and attached the snaps and all is holding 100%
