Two More Mods to the 2475

We did two more mods to the '03 2475. The first is an intended scratching post for our two cats that travel with us. So far they haven't taken a shine to the new scratching post, but we're hopeful.

The second is a key holder attached to the back of the dinette where we have easy access to them next to the door. We just screwed some suction cup hooks to a piece of wood we had around the shop and then attached the whole thing with Command strips horizontally. We didn't want to screw or glue anything permanently to the back of the dinette, so Command strips will do the trick, and we can remove it if we decide we don't want it there, after all.

Keep those mods coming

Nice mods. Too bad the cats haven't taken to the post yet. We have a T2475 also an installed a key holder mounted to the cabinet by the door. It's wee bit more permanent.

I've been tossing around the idea to put shelves in 1 half of the cabinet behind the toilet in our T2475. We really don't bring a lot of clothes requiring hangers when we camp and the shelving would come in handy.

I bought a 5-shelf hanging closet organizer and tied it to the hanging rack in the bathroom wardrobe. We rarely put anything in the wardrobe, so it will be a good place for the miscellaneous items and also add extra shelf space when we travel for a longer period of time.

I also hung a key rack on cabinet neat the door. I used the same material my EZ Pass uses to mount to the windshield.

Spray the rope with catnip, I'm sure they will take a liken to it then.

I did spray the catnip liquid on the rope, but neither of them even noticed. Maybe I need to get a new bottle. It does seem to work indoors, though, when I spray it on their cardboard scratching pad. It's a puzzlement, no doubt.

For those hard to reach cabinets above the bed we use Rubbermaid dishpans to pack clothing. Small clothing items can be easily be removed and contained at the same time. We also use CLEAR plastic containers with lids in the trunk areas so items are visible. We put all small items in Zip Lock bags so items like ratchet straps etc. do not get tangled. Like everyone else we installed key hooks at the entrance. In the cabinet above the table we bought small metal shelving and band tied them together to make an extra shelf, works great and no construction work.
