Storage "shelf" under bed

I had my dad put together a storage shelf in the underbed storage area. I am going to use it to store all the "long" items I travel with - maul, fire poker, awning tool, etc - so they do not get in tangle with everything else.

Nice mod!!!

Yes, a little organization goes a long way. Just being able to separate items is a big help with an added shelf. The big "storage hole" creates the "jumbled" situation real quick...

Thanks for sharing.

John

Good idea, storage space can get a little tight in these trailers.

Yeah find a way to keep them separated. From our experience no matter how neatly you put them in there they will become tangled together..

Our TT has the awning rod by the door. Two coffee cup hooks with spring clips to keep cups from slipping off are used to secure the rod. The bottom rod tip rests on the floor and the clips, one at the top and one near the bottom, keep it where it is accessible quickly for those sudden winds.

If your wife can't find you handsome, she should at least find you handy.
