Storage of Electric Surge Protector

I have a surge protector that I use all the time and was looking for a convenient place to store it that would make it easy for me to access it. On our T-280SR we have a large rear storage area that also has a large door.

I decided to mount 2 metal clips on the inside of the door to hold the surge protector. I used 2-faced tap and a small screw to attach each. I made sure the screw was shorter than the thickness of the door.

I decided to store my 50-30 amp adaptor the same way.

I also mounted a paper towel holder on the inside of the door. I mounted the paper towel holder near the top of the door (or bottom when open) so it would have minimum impact to interfering with items stored in the storage area. I use a plastic cloths pin to keep the paper towels from unraveling when open. I’ve attached the plastic cloths pin to the paper towel holder with a small chain and nylon cable ties to keep from losing it.

I used Velcro to help keep the cords in place during travel.

And then there’s always the Sunline Owner’s Club bumper sticker .

Hutch, you come up with so many good ideas, you must be an Engineer?!

Sorry if you're an architect, as I know they hate each other.... :P

Great Idea and I'm on my way to the Hardware store to get some of those clips to hand my 50 to 30 amp converter and a few other things we have bouncing around in the storage locker

Hutch

I'm catching up on my reading and saw this. OK now I have a new one to add.

I knew about the snap up holders on the door. Have not made it yet to them, BUT the paper towel rack YES!!

I allways seem to need one for something on the back side of the camper and it is now on the "Do it List"

Thanks for sharing.

John

Pat & John,

Thanks for the kind words. Just trying to return the favor for all that I’ve learned from you guys.
