Second deep cycle installed today.
Since the 320 was designed for two deep cycle batteries on the tongue, I managed to get the 2-year old one from Sunny 13 from Grumbine's. I put it on the tongue while we were still there, just not hooked up.
I went to a local battery store, that makes custom cables and got a pair today. The Sunline factory wire looks to be 8 gauge, but I used 6 gauge to connect the two together. The custom cables are 4 feet long and have heavy duty ring terminals on each end. I wanted to make sure, that I would have plenty of wire, to route it however I wished.
If anyone wants pics, I would be happy to oblige..
Gary

I've had two batteries on the tongue for a couple of years now. I'll get 5 days out of them being careful.

The Sunline main cable from battery to convertor should be a no 6. check on wire insulation under the camper. If it's an 8, well it is going to take longer time to charge the 2 batteries. In 2004, Sunline did use no 6.
The dual batteries do help when off the power grid.

John,
The cable from the batteries to the converter is definitely a #8 wire. It's smaller than the #6 I used, to connect the two batteries. There's no markings left on the cable. I plan to replace the hot wire as soon as possible. It should be at least a #6.. At least in my mind....

Gary, in my mind too... Well that is one other thing that changed in 2003 to 2004.
