I covered up one window at the foot of the bed. This will be the location for the TV wall mount. I also installed a small radio and a switch panel for the water heater and other devices.

I retrimmed the edges of the cabinet and benchs with aluminum edgeing. (I hated the plastic brass stuff)
I also repainted the hood vent and installed LED lighting into it.
The benches were modified and hinges installed to allow for larger items to be stored under the bench.

ALSO- the laminate was pealing off the doors, so we went with the simple solution and peeled off the laminate an painted them to match the new counter tops (coming soon)

The new laminate is glued on a 4X8 sheet of partical board and tomorrow goes to be cut on a CNC router. I will be able to get the sink counter, dinnette table and the small pull out counter under the refrig out of the one sheet.

Laminate is cut and ready for the aluminum trim. I still need to drill the holes for the faucet, but I still need to purchase a new one.

I made the gallery counter overhang larger than the OEM counter on the left and front edge, but I only have a 3" overhang on the right side over the bed.

The table is just about an inch longer that the original. The large radius on the end allows it to clear the bench ends.

The pull out counter (shown) I made about an inch longer so its easier to pull out. I installed the trim on this part first. I still need to remove the trim and apply silicon under the trim.

Do you have a pattern/brand name for that laminate? It's very retro looking!

Jon -

I am obsessed with all things retro and mid-century, so I recognized this pattern as soon as I saw it. They have a lot of cool patterns:

This looks fantastic. Makes me want to re-do my interior with some kind of great retro stuff. My counters are just plain-old 80's beige

Yep that's the stuff I used. It was $201 with tax. When I first checked on it they said a 2 week lead time. They told me the same thing with I ordered it but I got a call 2 days later saying they had received it. I guess the factory had it in stock and shipped it the same day.

So no pictures today, but the dinette cushions have been taken to the upholstery shop to get covered in fresh imitation leather.

And I will take the camper down either today or tomorrow to the welding shop and have it mounted on the flat bed trailer. The rest of the interior items I will have to install when I get the trailer back. I'm sure my neighbors are going to love it parked out in front of my house while I finish up!

The Camper is on the trailer and ready to be attached. I changed my mind about welding it straight to the trailer in case I had to service something underneath the camper. brackets are welded to the camper and to the trailer and are bolted together.

The photos shown are of the welder in the process of mounting the camper.

Wow, that is a nice trailer.

I see you now have a camper A frame as a spare part....

How do you get the camper on and off the trailer or will it stay there for a really long time? Is there fork lift slots in the frame work?

I plan on the camper staying on the trailer. It is removable if it needs to be serviced, but tabs are welded to the trailer and the camper then bolted together. The camper will probably never be on the ground as a bumper pull again. No fork holes in the frame. It was blocked under it with wood and lifted with a forklift. When the camper was in place the wood was removed.

The camper has it's final mounting location on the trailer. Now for skirting and building storage under the trailer.

Today I finally got the aluminum trim installed on the galley counter. I placed a bead of silicon between the trim and the wood to prevent water from running in the crack and expanding the wood.
