Monroe Shocks Retro Trailer Kit

I was curious if anyone has experience with adding shocks to their trailer. I saw this mentioned in another forum. Sounds like it might be a good way to improve the ride of the trailer but I would love to hear from others if it is worth the effort.

The website says the following;
Quote:
Adding Monroe RV shocks reduces the bounce and wander of your trailer for improved towing capacity. Monroe RV shocks also reduce the surge caused by trailer motion feedback to the tow vehicle, for a smoother, more comfortable ride. Recommended for use with Monroe RV shock absorbers for a softer, more controlled ride.
You can read more at http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/mon_retrokit.cfm.

Later,
David

I'll follow your post closely as I too am looking into this. It is on the future add on list.

Why tire balancing and shocks where not standard are a real good question???

John
