Lighting modification

You can do this with any lamp. I have a 120v lamp mounted on a table. We dry camp 99% of the time so we'll never get to use it.

I found a 12v LED with 25 watt output and 6.5 watt draw that has a standard light bulb base on Amazon. I changed the plug to 12v and plug it into a 12v recepticle which I added. Nice effect and more light than those 11 watt'ers.

I'll do that tomorrow night. I do have a photo. This now gives us the option to convert any 120v fixture either wall mount or table lamp to a decent light fixture in the camper at only 6 watt usage (25watt equivilent). They're not cheap at $22.00 but no LED is and that's the cost of a good wedge mount bulb at half the output.

Okay, I did have it. The Sao Paulo Hilton here isn't so generous with their high speed internet (cost to get it in your room) but I found their lounge still open and had access.

That's the Sacandaga river outside the window.
