Another DIY. My new camper had a 120v lamp on a table between two chairs. Since I boondock 90% of the time I'd get no use out of it. I found a 20w 12v LED (7 watt draw) on Amazon that fits standard bulb bases. I cut the end of the cord and put a 12v plug on it. Now I have a lamp 100% of the time. I do carry a 50w 12v (Wally World) bulb for the few times I have 120v power.

With that in mind, you can convert any 120v fixture/lamp for use in the camper. Just make sure you get the polarity right. The LED bulbs are about $20.

I'm looking to upgrade mostly due to the heat melting my lenses. I think I found the lenses online. By looking at pics mine appear to be a Progessive Dynamics 770 series singles. They take the old automotive type base...1141 bulb I believe. I think someone may have put 1156s in which melted the lens.

Any recomendations on what I should buy and best price? I've done some searches and it really gets confusing.

Yep melted lens are a dead give away of power draw and inefficiency most of the light bulbs power draw is lost to heat.
