JohnB...

I was looking for TT weights and found THIS page, with your rig on it.. With a TT that big and with 65 lbs of weight to spare, perhaps you might consider using some traction motors on the TT's wheels.. They would help with propulsion maybe??

I work for the railroad and when I saw that rig, I figured you might need a "Helper" on the rear of your "Train"

Hi Gary

Catching up on posts. Going camping on the weekend puts us behind on the posting….

So you found my profile over on RV.net. Yup that’s me.

Now to the weights, about 1/2 way down this post are my weight slips from the T310SR, http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/ph...pic.php?t=3052

My T310SR loaded with all my camping stuff is around 9,055# with no fresh water. And that 9055# numbers includes the TT axles weight gain from WD.

Loaded with water, no WD effects, the T310SR weighs is at around 9,200# . I have to get the weights slips at home to give the exact number. The TT has a 10,000# GVWR so I have 800# more stuff I could add. WHERE too out that much more stuff, good question….

The T320SR in your future will get into this area as well I suspect. 8,800 to 9,000# is not shocking. It is amazing what “stuff” weighs. It all adds up. And you have 1 1/2 feet more length space to put it in….

The F350 is a 11,000 GVWR truck. Loaded with camper on the back, axles weights are 9,440# GVW. So I have room for another 1,560# of “stuff” in the truck… Again I’m almost full in the truck other then some day a truck cap.

You mentioned 65# before reaching limits, where did you pick that part up?

The railroad, yes I had an uncle in the railroad and then his son. Heavy stuff….talk about a TV??? While granted you can’t back a locomotive into the camp ground, they sure ride thru some real pretty scenery.

John
