Smile Homemade Hanging Lamp

I love a reading lamp. Sooooo.....I decided to make a hanging lamp for my rig.

I really had to look around to find a hanging lamp kit but finally found a very nice one that would take up to 100W at Lowes

I already had a perfect size nice fabric finial lamp shade I was not using however it was a little dusty/dirty from sitting in the basement so I washed it like this

I looked around for something I already had to use and I found a bouquet of silk sunflowers I was not using.

I cut the flowers and the leaves off the stems and hot glued them to the shade

I am going for a retro look in my little home on wheels so I wanted some pom pom trim. Good selection of colors at Jo-Ann

I decided to add another trim to the green poms pom trim so I hot glue the tiny yellow pom pom trim to the green trim and then hot glued that to the shade.

And I thought these sunflowers need a ...lady bug or two! So I hot glued a couple of lady bug buttons on the shade and there ya go! My one-of-kind reading lamp!

I am loving it

I just love all your homey touches. Your trailer feels like a little home instead of a camper!

Thank you! That's what I was hoping to achieve....

I love to travel but I love my home so I tried to combine both while on the road!
