I hope this question is ok here on this thread. If not...

What can I use to hang up hooks, pictures, etc. on the wall without ruining the wallboard? I think I only have 2 places I can hang something, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

TKX,
Alice

3M Command Strips

They come in all kinds of hooks now. And you can peel them off using the pull tab and not rip off the wall paper.

I use them a lot, work good.

Hope this helps

John

Double Ditto on the 3M Command system. All kinds of hooks, picture hangers, etc. etc. Michaels and other craft shops have a good assortment of them in the framing department. I just saw a very large rack of them at Target, too.

We've used them exclusively in our Sunline for clothing hooks, pictures and other decorative stuff as well as many items on the kitchen walls. We hang bathrobes and heavy coats on the larger hooks even in transit. They have held up just fine for nearly 10 years.

I put one of their spring clips on the face of a kitchen cabinet at eye level to hold recipe cards while we cook. And that's at home and in the Sunline.

They also have some utility gadgets that bundle wires etc., all with the Command adhesive strips.

Great stuff.

Great! Thanks John & Steve. We don't have a Target here, but I'll certainly check Michaels (oh-oh, now I'm in trouble... ).

Our tt is so new-looking, I didn't want to mar anything.

I just picked up some of the Command Hooks at CVS today, if you have the Sunday paper, from 12/6, check your coupon section for a coupon for them too.

thanks Diane - but I am Canadian, eh?

BUT, I walked over to our local Home Hardware today and bought a variety to try out.
