Free standing table and chairs in T-2553
Does anyone have a picture of how the free standing table and chairs look in the T-2553 . Our dinette is TOO cozy and we would like more room for my 6' 3" frame. Any suggestions on frame work removal?
Where may we buy the table and chairs ? We had them in our T-2453 and loved them. Thanks for all your help.

Neat option! I am glad I did not have to decide between dinette and free-standing table. I like the room of the table, but do enjoy stretching out on the dinette bed to watch a long movie.

I think I would like the free standing table option better (with a table of a different type), and then have a "real queen" sized air mattress----for when we have guests.
I have NEVER understood why ALL trailer makers make couches and dinettes not wide enough or long enough. At least ONE should be big enough for adults.

Mark:
I have my doubts about fitting a queen mattress in that area. However, I agree with your comments about the dinette bed and sofa bed. Neither are the least bit comfortable for sleeping and they're not long enough for adults. We've put 2" feather mattresses on both, but they are still not too comfortable. If you remove the foot board by the door on the dinette, an adult can stretch out, but the cushion keeps sliding off the end of the bed. We chose the 2553 over the 2499 to accommodate two more adults. Now we have to figure out a way to give them a good night's sleep.

I actually find the dinette bed reasonable for one adult to sleep in. As for the cushions sliding off, I wonder if a few well placed velcro strips would hold the cusions in place. You could do it on the cushion at the foot of the bed.
Another option might be to create a 'foot board' that would slide into the holes that the seat back normally goes into, but be just tall enough to catch the bottom half of the cushion, or maybe just the corners of the cushion.
(It is getting late - I hope this makes sense! Bedtime! )
Later....

That 2001 camper really looks NICE. WOW. And the way the cabinets where made.
Each time I see one of the older or newer coaches I jsut plain feel rotten Sunline is no longer.

This may not work in yours, but may spark some ideas. This is my free standing table and chairs from Sunline.
