IF you have the metal "mini-blinds" they are not too difficult to remove. The headrail is held in place on each end with a plastic or metal bracket. on one of those brackets there is a piece that "slides out". Once this piece is slid out, you slide the headrail out of the bracket and then it will pull out of the other bracket.
Here is a link to a photo of the bracket, you will need to scroll down until you come to the "plastic" one, and you can see how one side of it slides out. I think yours should be plastic. If they are metal, just don't scroll down as far and you will see the metal ones.
