6 & 7 Way Plug Holder

One thing that I’ve found very convent for keeping the electrical umbilical cord secure and out of the way while camping and in storage is a plug holder.

I used plastic ties to attach it to the tongue jack so that the plug is pointing down when it's placed in the holder. Having it pointing down also helps in keeping rain water from accumulating in the plug.

The plug holder can be purchsed for less the $5 at RV Toy Outlet. I can't remember if I've seen them at Wal-Mart. I originally bought ours at Camping World, but I don't think they carry them any more.

I've found it to be very useful.

Yes I agree, keep the plug pointing down to keep the water naturally out of the plug. I stick mine in the slot under the propane tank cover to keep it out of the way pointing down. I did not know they actually made a holder.

And I see something else in your pic. A power jack cover. Santa brought me a power jack this year. Oh what a great present I'm a happy camper now.

However I need to make a cover for it. Did you make one or buy? Right now I'm in the 2 gallon zip lock bag stage until I get to a more heavier duty one.

John

We have something very similar to your plug holder. We purchased a plug guard at camping world last year. I believe it was about $8. Here is the link to the companies website:

John,

I originally picked up my Tongue Jack Cover at Camping World. It's about 10 years old now and I think I'm due a new one.

We used one like this on the A-Liner we had before he Que. IIRC, we picked it up at Northern Tool.
