Algonac State Park

If you enjoy seeing freighters go by while camping . This maybe a
good place for m&g in this area. Takeing a river boat ride is only
about a half hour away. Maybe June. The park is located on the
St. Clair river in Algonac MI. On the E. side of the state.
If this sounds like fun! Let us know. We will start working on
getting more info.

Don't feel bad, the Michigan members aren't a real eager bunch to get together at a M&G. We've had the one close to the border now for a couple years to get people to come from Ohio and Indiana too.

That does sound like a nice park- I've never been though, but I have heard of it in the past.

Although I'm from PA, my family has stayed here twice. It is fun to watch the freighters float by! Just be careful to NOT stay in the wagon wheel in the summer, the bugs will eat you alive!

Thanks for the reply. I talked to another group of campers that are there when they are haveing a car show and antique boat show. Add a boat
ride with music and food. Sounds good to us. No we don`t feel bad.
