Adarondack M&G

Hi All: I have been thinking (dangerous for me) If anyone has a FRS/GMRS walkie talkie, bring it along and we can set up a channel for group communication. This would be good for general communication or emergency. Remember there is a great chance we will not have Cell service at the camp. If there is anyone that is medically trained, Nurse, EMT or Paramedic. please let someone know in case we need you. I always carry an extensive first aid bag if it is needed. Frank

Paul & Sheri, We would be happy to run the auction if everyone would be interested in having it. Diana will bring a taco salad and we will figure out something for desert. Enjoy your trip and will see everyone in a few weeks.

Vic and Mir will be making shepards pie for the pot luck and planning an event for Friday night. We'll all need our glasses and flashlights. I assume he means reading glasses.

Sounds good Steve. What does everyone think????? We can have a Chinese Auction after pot luck and that would mean everyone bringing a gift to participate. We should limit it to maybe $10.

We'll be out of touch until the 22nd camping in Wells. No cell, no email. Just like the old days. We

Last event will be a kayak event if anyone wants to plan one.

Update

I have had to replace all my brake lines, calipers, fuel lines and this past week the transmission lines. Just gotta love living in snow country and salted roads. I am going to name the truck Rusty. OK I have 225,000 miles on the truck. I guess I shouldn't complain. LOL

I received a message from STEVE59 that they have a family medical emergency. The last paragraph Steve sent is below. We all hope for the best Steve and Dianne and their daughter.

"We do hope things progress so we can come. We are still packing and getting ready just in case.It has been a very tough week so far. Thank You and keeping our fingers crossed that we will see everyone. Steve"

PWB01: I guess rust doesn't go by mileage LOL. Also I forgot to add the parking brake cable. I figure anything medal and thin is vulnerable.
