Well, I think we made it to count down mode! We are 5 days and counting them down.

The weather looks to be cooperating. From a rain perspective that is.

From a heat perspective, make sure your AC unit is working... Good thing I just fixed ours a few weeks ago...

Here is the latest weather for Mendon, OH at 8:51PM on 6-5-16

Looking forward to seeing everyone again and some new folks!

Thanks

John

Reminder!!!

Bring your checkbook or cash. The camp office does not take credit cards.

Many of us just paid the one night deposit and need to settle up when we check in.

Thanks

John

Hi Mike,

On the breakfast, you are welcome to come and just yak with us!!! No need to eat... And the Java junkies will be in full force... Me being one of them...

On the Saturday night pot luck, this one is simple, just bring what you want to share with or without buns. It is as simple as that. We always seem to eat too much...and always have more food then we can eat....

OK joking aside, on the qty, no need to over plan the count. There will be 12 of us, but I doubt all of use will have a dog or brat and we can cut them in half making them go farther. There is always so many good things to eat, the plate gets full with just a little taste of each dish. Us Sunline folks know how to eat!!!

Looking forward to meeting Rose and you. This is going to be a great weekend!

Thanks

John

Thanks John...We will bring a few brats and maybe a package of hot dogs. If there are any left who ever wants them can help themselves. I forgot to mention we will have my 23 year old son with us. He is handicapped and he will be no trouble. But he sure loves to eat so look out...LOL See you Friday!!

Beautiful Camping Weather

JohnB:

Thanks for the weather report. We think ? Looks like a hot one. Imagining some of us will be taking shelter in said Sunlines !

Mike and Rose, welcome in advance. See you on Friday.

A busy period coming up. Will bring the trailer down from Saginaw this coming Thursday and will pack. Heading out on the road Friday late morning. And will stay over until Monday morning, as mentioned.

Hey, Jim, are still sure you don't want me to bring my shoes ? We might welcome the rain !

Hi Denny

Rather have it hot and dry than soggy and muggy.
Don't worry I'm sure we'll have some rain.

Black Iron Kettle

Hi, Jack,

I keep forgetting to ask you: we talked last year about a black iron kettle and cooking tripod that we have. You said you might like to have it (for free). I'll bring it along if you would still like to have it. Let us know.

Denny

Jack,

OK got it and I'll update the list

On the cooker for omelets and the LP gas bottle, I have that covered. I have a twin 30,000 BTU stove now with a full 20 lb cylinder and it is all packed in the truck. So I have this covered. That will save you a little space.

Thanks

John

I "think" we are covered, like in tarps. Good! After looking at the latest weather update, we are going to need covering. Will see how this develops.

Here is Mendon at 8:33PM 6/8/16

Ah Denny, if you have a Sun dance, now would be a good time
