Rick,

We used to camp there with our T-2670 so we know your situation.
Yes, there are sites that the sewer connection is lower.
I don't know which sites they are.

Two options:
1. I'll be camping there in June and can check out the available sites to see which ones have lower sewer connections.
2. You can talk to Sue and ask for a site with a sewer connection close to the ground.

FYI - The sites that have higher connections are not that high, the higher ones may stick out of the ground <6".

Hutch

Thanks Hutch, I may just give her a call. If it was closer I'd just take a ride over and check it out but that is a long ride to do that!

I think that I would just take the lumber along as JohnB advised anyway just to be sure. Last Fall I stayed at a lovely Campground with a "level" site. After putting 2 boards under one side, it was still slightly leaning.

Exclamation Reserving a M&G Site?

Fellow 2010 WNY M&G Attendees:

With a total of 10 sites / 20 attendees now signed up for the WNY M&G, I think reserving a site as a gathering site for meals and campfires may be a good idea.

If we shared the cost of this M&G site among all the attendees, the cost for each attending site would be $6.00 (less if more people join).

Do any of the current attendees have an objection to this?
I will check with the campground to see what sites may be available.

Also # 1, just incase there may be inclement weather, please let me know if anyone will be able to bring canopies.
We will have our Ez-Up with us again this year, but I think it would be too cozy to fit 20 people under 1 10x10 Ez-Up .
So if anyone else has one and can bring it please let me know.

Also # 2, if any local attendees are willing to bring and donate wood for the evening campfires, please post or let me know. Otherwise, to adhere to the New York State 50 mile travel band on wood, I’ll take up a collection to purchase firewood from the campground.

More info to come as we get closer to the event.

Note: I'm maintaining the list of current attendess with site map in the OP of this thread and within the WNY Event Calendar post.

Thanks
Hutch

Yeah, everyone knows it’s always sunning in WNY, but then why take the chance we'll hit the 1 day it’s not

I will bring a lot of wood again. Don't worry. If we run out, I found a place on the next road over from the campground. Amy and I are currently staying at Southwoods for 9 nights as a vacation. Sort of ran low on wood. Bought 4 large bundles for $3 apiece. You can get a face cord for $50.

BTW. The WIFI works great. We are on site B-4 at the further end of the campground/

Just reserved Site C7 as our M&G gathering site.

Sites still available include:
C6
C13
M1
M2

So if interested in joining us, make your reservations while there's still sites close to the group.

Henry has offered to switch sites with the M&G Site so it's between 2 SOC attendees - so the M&G Site is now C8, and Henry will be on site C7.

Thanks Henry.

Hutch

We have no problems with having a community site. Just let us know what we need to cover.

We do not have a EZ up but I do have a tarp that lives in the camper if it will do any good along with a bunch of trucking type rubber tie downs that are also in the camper. Just let us know when we are there if you need it.

John

Lyn and I are looking forward to meeting new Sunline Camper Owners ! Last year it was such a treat to run into others who have Sunlines. Ours is a 1997 T-2370. Not to mention a few birthdays and wedding anniversary in there - don't tell anyone but Leo will be 70 this year!!!!! Then we have Nick's Lake.... We need time in between weekends to get ourselves together!!!! Getting way to old to be sooo busy! LOL
