Gateway Park Campground welcomed us again this year for our Midwest Meet & Greet. Sunlines travelled from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and New York. Three members were new participants. It was nice to meet PTHutch, Viking and donreitz. The weather was a bit better this year. The rain came down in buckets Friday but Saturday things dried up and the sun came out. We enjoyed some delicious food together on Saturday and Sunday. Between filling our stomachs, Jon found time to work on his Sunline Registry.

With dry, warm weather arriving later in the Midwest and Jon's busy schedule, he was unable to clean his coach before he arrivied, so we all enjoyed a demonstration of the proper way to wash and dry. Wheatons on wheels gave their site a bit of tropical flair complete with pink flamingos. Everyone wanted to know where they got the umbrella. Saturday night, we enjoyed a colorful fire. Talk around the fire lasted until about 2:00 AM so we were a bit late for the planned 8:00 AM baggie omelet breakfast (notice the time stamp). It was still a bit cool to enjoy the pool -- maybe next year.

Now to the Coaches. They start on one end nice and cute.


Then they grew longer on her Madden Voyage to come camp with all of us.


And then stayed about the same length, maybe just a little longer.


Then they really grew! H’mm that Coach looks familiar??


Then they start to get shorter again, by about ~ 2 feet.


Then they stayed about the same. The front kitchen models seem to like to hang out next to each other I guess.


And then they got smaller again.


From the statistics pole, there where qty 3 rear living room floor plans represented along with qty 3 front kitchens followed by a front bedroom/living area/couch/ area camper. Seems the T2499’s held the lead in most represented model, second to a change in years of the T280SR and the T286SR.

It was a great time. Hope to see ya next year.

Looks like everyone had a great time up out there. We are thinking of attending next year since we have another tow vehicle. It looks like a very nice campground it probably takes 8 to 10 hour from WV. Maybe Gary and Kitty can go and we can convoy from here.
