Yes, sadly Sunline Coach Comapny did close their doors. What happened, who really knows.

How are we coping with it: We are pampering our beloved Sunlines, as there is nothing else out there to compare to the quality that we have unless you can afford to spend lots of bucks, and even then I'm not sure.

"IF" something were to happen to my 2499, I'd be searching for a used Sunline. I know I could go find a floor plan in Brand X that I would like and purchase brand new, but it wouldn't be a Sunline. And with the economy, even "IF" I purchased another new trailer from a different company, I would have no way of knowing how long that company might be around.

I like my Sunline, Sunline has some 40 + years of experience building trailers, so I would take my chances on a used replacement Sunline over a new brand X.

Moosie,

www.macdonaldsrv.com has a few used sunlines in various configurations. Since your location is ME and MD, I would think you (might) travel I95 between them. They are located about 10 minutes North of I95 just off I495 in MA.

It's where we got our 2380s, and they are good folks. If you are interested in one, I can swing by and take a better look for you.
