We sold our 2006 2363.

We finally moved into the world of the motorhome (actually 2 years ago) and purchased a used 2013 Winnebago View. We held on to the 2363 because we loved it and we thought we might park it on some land in North Georgia. A man stopped by our house week before last to inquire about our RV carport that we had built for the View. He then asked if we were interested in selling the Sunline. He said he "knew somebody" who was looking for a camper. He asked my husband to send him some photos. I asked my husband to send me the photos as well. On a lark, I posted it for sale in a local yard sale group on Facebook. Low and behold, the first person who came to see it, bought it. All that happened so fast (just a few days), that I can't even believe it is no longer in our driveway. It's better off being used than sitting but it sure was sad to watch it leave. I am not leaving the group. I've received a lot of advice here. Who knows, someday we may decide we like pulling a trailer better and I'll be shopping for another Sunline unless the industry takes a drastic turn for the better. The new trailers I've seen lately are pretty shoddy.

Hi Pamwinn,

Good to hear from you. Yes, we do get attached to our campers, that is a fact and I can attest to it. It was real hard letting our 2004 T-2499 go. But after 2 years of not using it and it consuming 60% of my prior building, it was time. It went to a good home. A fellow forum member.

So glad you are staying with the group. Your always welcome.

And yes your right, a lot of the new campers still do not hold a candle to our Sunlines.

Happy camping this year.

John

I still remember when you found it and bought it! As I recall, it was a pretty rare one with the leather interior. I have a feeling my 286 may become like yours did, but I'm far too attached to it to let it go.
