Trip to GA & SC

DW & I are heading to Savanna & Tybee Island, GA, Charleston, SC and (southern) Myrtle Beach, SC near the end of March. We'll be in each area for approximately 2 1/2 days. In planning our trip, I would appreciate hearing from you with suggested places to visit and those "don't miss seeing this while you're in the neighborhood."

Beaufort, SC and the nearby Sea Islands are a beautiful place to visit if you're traveling between Charleston and Savannah. We lived there for six years and preferred its small town atmosphere and slower place to Charleston and Savannah, and truly enjoyed the Lowcountry lifestyle. If you stop there, make sure you try the Frogmore Stew.

If you got to Beaufort, Hunting Island is a nice state park. The state owns virtually the whole island and their are wooded beach sites.
